Coverage —  TCT’s protection package covers damage to specified Internet or television equipment used with TCT services, whether owned by you or by TCT. The package also covers existing coaxial wiring, cabling and jacks inside the premises. It is strongly recommended that all custom­ers use surge protection and proper electrical grounding for equipment. This Protection Package is void where grounding and surge protection are not in place.

Items covered (including equipment owned by customer or TCT) – DSL modems, set top boxes, RAPs, TCT switches, STB remote controls, HDMI cables, RCA cables, ATA boxes and TCT-installed dishes/antennas, modules, surge suppressors, power supplies & extension devices. Also covered is repair to existing inside wiring meeting industry standards, and jacks after the NID. If there are obvious signs of neglect or abuse, TCT Protection Plan will not cover the damage.

Items not covered – Computers, routers (including wireless), switches not sold by TCT, telephones, cellular equipment (for handset replacement insurance information, see price sheet) caller ID boxes, fax machines, answering machines, television sets, VCR & DVD players, or repair to substandard wiring.
