Each Bandana Cooler is approximately 42" long and 2"
wide giving you plenty of length to tie around you head or neck,
tuck the excess ends back around the cooler if desired. Bandana
Coolers are a one-size-fits-all product that makes it right
for everyone from children to adults.
Bandana Coolers have a small handful of
special polymer crystals inside that, when activated by soaking in cool
water for 30 to 45 minutes, swell to over 400 times their original size
and fill the entire center tube.
Cooling By Evaporation
As the water slowly evaporates from the Bandana Cooler it causes a
natural cooling process. Just like we do when we perspire, the Bandana
Cooler becomes cooler as the water inside slowly evaporates, sucking away
heat from whatever it is touching.
Coolness lasts for hours
Place the activated Bandana Cooler around your neck, or tie it
around your head, and you'll instantly feel a cool, refreshing sensation
as it does its work Bandana Coolers work best when they are directly against
skin so it can pass over the pulse points or carotid in your neck. Although
re-soaking the Bandana Cooler every couple of hours or so will allow it
to recharge itself with cooling power, a single soaking, without any
refrigeration, will cool you off for up to two or three days! This makes
a Bandana Cooler ideal for hiking or camping trips when cool water may
not be available.
The material may become warm against the
skin but by simply rotating the wrap, the cooling effect is rejuvenated
immediately.
Heat your Bandana Cooler
Your activated
Bandana Cooler may be heated for about 45 seconds in the microwave
for moist heat to apply to sore neck, sinuses or bruised areas. Be
careful not to over heat, use a cloth between you and Bandana to prevent
scalding.
Bandana Coolers Can Be Used Again and
Again
Dry thoroughly when not in use. Hand wash in mild dish soap or
baking soda.
