"MEMOIRS OF YESTERYEARS AND TODAY"

This web site is partially a product of a Northwest College outreach web page design class I enrolled in during the fall of 2001. It appeared that the best way to learn the art of web publishing was to design a personal web site.

I have for years felt it would be exciting if our children could have access to the histories of their ancestors. In this age of technology what better way to preserve this multitude of information than to develop a web site. It would be my hopes that as aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives surf the following pages, they will be inspired to also accumulate their written family treasures and link their sites to my "Memoirs of Yesteryear and Today."

Thanks to all of the family members who have helped me gather these histories together. A special thanks to the generations before me who had the foresight to write autobiographies and pass them on to their families. The title for this home page was an adaptation of a title used by my husband's grandfather, Chester Hamilton, when he was asked to write a history of his life. This will be an on going project with new pages being added as I have time. Pictures will be added depending on availability and web space. Check in now and then for additions.
